Much like Southern rock revivalists My Morning Jacket and Kings of Leon, Steel Train take a post-punk approach to the hoary sounds of ’70s album-oriented rock. The band has entered 2010 with a flurry of activity, announcing appearances at Coachella and Bamboozle. Now, with their recent single “You and I Undercover,” Steel Train have fine tuned their sound into something a bit incomparable to any other pop rock band out there. Steel Train is currently on the road with Tegan and Sara on their upcoming US Tour through April 8 in Portland, and finishing up their latest CD which is scheduled to be released in June.
