Habitat for Humanity Benefit featuring Icky Blossoms, Blue Bird, LIFE is COOL, and John Klemmensen

Band Build is back for its third year of supporting Habitat for Humanity of Omaha! Did you know that in the north Omaha metro area, 6 out of 10 children are living in poverty? This chilling fact shows the importance of Habitat Omaha’s mission of “building community through home ownership”. Habitat Omaha began building their first house in 1984 and it took two years to complete. In 2012, more than 300 new and rehabilitated houses later, they completed 31 houses and impacted hundreds of lives through their various programs. Come help support this cause while seeing some of the best bands Omaha has to offer! Icky Blossoms’ music is simultaneously avant-garde, catchy and danceable. Blue Bird is a 7-piece band that mixes influences of folk, soul, doo-wop, and Americana into intricately woven pop songs. LIFE is COOL is a new dance/pop influenced band in the Lincoln/Omaha scene. John Klemmensen is know for his bands Landing on the Moon and John Klemmensen and the Party. All ticket and raffle sales go to Habitat Omaha. Great bands, great venue, great cause.
