The Omaha Entertainment & Arts Awards present the Seventh Annual Summer Showcase in Benson. This showcase will feature 50 bands and artists at four venues over the course of two evenings. Those venues will be The Waiting Room Lounge, The PS Collective, The Barley Street Tavern, and The Sydney. The Summer Showcase is set up to feature music from many genre’s all performed by area musicians. The Summer Showcase tries to offer the most diverse weekend of music that you will find in town all year long. It’s a great way for Omaha music fans to catch their favorites along with up and coming acts. It’s also the perfect introduction for those curious about the Omaha music scene as you will see a wide variety of many of the best bands and artists this town has to offer. One artist or band will be chosen by showcase attendees to perform live at MAHA 2012 on August 11th at Aksarben Village.
